Why You Should Book Your Wedding at Tannenbaum Event Center

If you want the best of both worlds of Reno and Lake Tahoe for your wedding venue, look no further than Tannenbaum Event Center. Nestled about 20 minutes up Mount Rose Highway and equidistant from south Reno and North Lake Tahoe, Tannenbaum offers spectacular easterly mountain and valley views, panoramic windows in their reception hall, in-house catering, a full-service bar, and a spacious parking lot – to name a few of their excellent features.

Not only does Tannenbaum truly encapsulate the meaning of an all-inclusive wedding venue, but it also makes planning a wedding a breeze. They offer onsite planners to help throughout the planning process as well as on your wedding day. Both the catering staff and planning staff are friendly and helpful.

Spacious, Versatile, and Vibrant Space

Inside, Tannenbaum feels like a grand Lodge. The ceilings are high, the space is light and vibrant, and the textiles are warm and inviting. When you walk in, a large stone fireplace greets you and your guests. The fireplace itself is double-sided and leads into the main reception area. The indoor design can fit into any wedding vibe you can imagine – from traditional to boho, to modern and simplistic. The reception area also leads out onto a balcony. The balcony is situated right above the outdoor ceremony location and offers another area for guests to take in your ceremony and the amazing sights. The panoramic windows inside offer the same magnificent views as the outdoor ceremony space and it will surely ‘wow’ your guests. And speaking of guests, this location can comfortably accommodate 160 of your closest friends and family.

A World of Possibilities

The property is spacious too. It boasts a large parking lot that can accommodate up to 80 vehicles, and also offers a load-in/load-out area for any outside vendors who may need it. The outdoor ceremony site overlooks a gorgeous view of the Sierra Nevadas and Washoe Valley beneath. The property is nestled in trees and other native vegetation, making for gorgeous photo opportunities. A unique feature of the property is an old fireplace stack – it’s a fun landmark that we photographers love to utilize.

Both wedding suites offered are plenty big and can easily handle all the hustle and bustle of a wedding day. Having your vendors meet you at the property and having your hair and makeup done onsite is a solid option when planning a seamless and stress-free wedding day, and this space definitely makes that option very doable.

One of the wedding suites has a side door that leads out to the back of the outdoor ceremony area and gives couples who are wanting to stay hidden from one another until their ceremony time an option to stay out of sight from each other, and all of the guests – making for a grand ceremony entrance and reveal.

The mountainous location is perfect for a fall wedding. The changing leaves and fall colors compliment the stone facades and rustic accents of the Tannenbaum. Not only that, but the weather is brisk yet still comfortable for an outdoor wedding.

And speaking of weather, this location is perfect for the couple who, like me, maybe predisposed to worrying about all the “what-ifs”. The location is so versatile, that if weather doesn’t cooperate, the staff can easily rearrange the space so your ceremony is indoors and away from inclement weather – while you still get the benefit of those gorgeous panoramic windows.

The Tannenbaum Event Center is a perfect all-in-one space for any couple wanting an all-inclusive experience. Its central location, versatility, and views make it one of the best options for a wedding venue in the Reno or Lake Tahoe areas.
