Hello lovelies!
There are few locations in Las Vegas that are centrally located, and yet offer a stunning natural surrounding with both lush greens, and beautiful desert landscapes. Thats why I get so excited to photograph at Springs Preserve.
Springs Preserve
With a museum, trails, luscious gardens, and even a butterfly habitat, there is no shortage of variety to choose from when looking for an amazing venue for your wedding day. If you’re not familiar with the area, you wouldn’t know that there is a nature preservation at all. Located directly in the middle of Las Vegas, Springs Preserve is truly an oasis. And who wouldn’t want their wedding to be in a modern day desert oasis? Maybe Santa & Mrs. Claus, since they love cold weather, but no one else. Or maybe the Abominable Snowman, if he ever finds a Mrs. Abominable Snow-woman.
Anyway, there are a few different locations you can choose to get married at Springs Preserve. One is a in a portion of the preserve surrounded by desert, which would give you a very rustic feel. Another location is at the bottom of a rotunda near the entrance of the preserve. This specific location has a really cool industrial modern feel. Either way, regardless of where you choose to get married, you can still have gorgeous posed photos at all of the various locations, so you’re a real winner all around.
The Ceremony
Arialle and Charlie chose to get married at a third location, located right near the butterfly habitat, surrounded by archways covered in beautiful greenery, with a DIY backdrop that friends and family put together for them. It was incredible. Wedding guests were seated under umbrellas to shield them from the desert heat, and the couple said their vows atop a small stage, with the sun shining behind them, making for the most gorgeous lighting.
DIY Decor
Besides the gorgeous backdrop created by friends and family, there were a lot of other little DIY elements included in Arialle and Charlie’s wedding. Their cake was made by Arialle’s sister while all of the food at their reception was lovingly done by her brother. One of Arialle’s beautiful bridesmaids made all of the programs and other decorations for the ceremony. Their wedding was quite the labor of love, which really means that Arialle and Charlie are deeply loved by a lot of people.
Check out their photos below, I think you’ll love them!
