So often, during the booking process, the only contact I have is with my two clients. A really good sign that I’m about to meet two really great people, is when a friend of my clients contacts me.
This is how I originally met Lisa and Mat. I was contacted by a long time friend of the both of them who wanted to hire me as a surprise for Lisa and Mat as they were visiting Vegas on vacation. She thought that her friends would love to have an engagement session while in Vegas, and she was not wrong! We ended up doing an engagement session at Nelson’s Ghost Town, and it was one of my favorite engagement sessions to date! (Thanks for bringing us together Kat!)
We all three instantly hit it off, and I felt like we’d been old friends. During our first session, we talked about everything from our mutual fear of flying all the way to our weird fascination with ghost hunting. It was just all-around the best time! Caesars Palace
You can imagine how thrilled I was when Mat and Lisa contacted me again letting me know that they were traveling down from Canada to get married with their closest friends and family, and that they wanted me to photograph their day! I was so excited!
I met them and their wedding party on the lawns outside of Caesars Palace right after their wedding ceremony and the first thing I noticed was Lisa’s AMAZING dress. It was this gorgeous mermaid style gown and my favorite part about it was its color. It was a beautiful pale pink, and it was perfect.
I really wanted to incorporate the wedding party into photos since the last time I got to photograph Lisa and Mat, it was the two of them. But since they had so many loved ones with them this time around, I really wanted to showcase them, so we got some really unique and fun group photos!
When the day was all said and done, I was so thankful to get another afternoon to spend with these two. They’re both truly gorgeous inside and out, and their photos really reflect that!
