The Couple
I knew Dan and Cat had style when they chose to get married at the JW Marriott in Las Vegas, NV. Talk about a gorgeous location for an even more beautiful couple. I’m not sure where to begin by describing the kindness and generosity of these two other than to say that they day I met them, I immediately felt like a close friend or a part of their family. They’re both such gentle souls and I’m truly thankful that life lead them to one another!
The ceremony was elegant, traditional, and upbeat and these two were all smiles throughout the entire event. Friends and family from all over the world came to join them. They incorporated elements from Cat’s Filipino heritage by including a cord ceremony, veil ceremony, and coin ceremony which gave family a chance to be a part of the lovely event since neither Dan nor Cat had a wedding party standing with them. Enjoy Cat and Dan’s photos, and if you want to have your wedding at this location, read below for more information and helpful tips!
The Venue: JW Marriott
A little ways off the beaten path of the Strip is the JW Marriott located in beautiful Summerlin. Their staff includes dedicated wedding day coordinators and event planners so you’ll have help every step of the way. The grounds are large and spacious and offer plenty of variety for photos. There is plenty of greenery, trees, and flowers as well as several areas with ponds and streams which make the property feel calm and relaxing. Theres even a good bit of wild life, just beware of the geese! The grounds also offer several different locations for both ceremony and reception and options include both indoor and outdoor which is awesome, especially considering Las Vegas’ weather.
